K.E.M School is situated in a remote village Kongad in palakkad district. Krishna English Medium School is registered under Krishna Educational Trust, a charitable Trust which came into existence in the year 2001. The school got affiliation on 2007, Affiliation number 930765, School Code 75775. The school was founded by Sri.Raveenthranadha kurup, a great visionary and industrialist. His vision was to provide children meaningful opportunities for realizing their potentialities in the spheres of academic cultural ,sports and health education. Spiritual and psychological integration of the pupils is imparted through yoga and counseling. Computer-Aided Learning, Work Experience, and Skills Development in Arts are part of our curriculum.
The total number of building blocks is three with a total area of school with 12181 sq.m. The total area of the playground is 1500 sq.m. We have total 25 classrooms and 3 extra rooms. We have also 9 smart classrooms. School has 3 Science labs, Computer lab and a library. We have one open stage, sports room, yoga hall, fire extinguisher, CCTV cameras, drinking water with water purifier is also provided for our students. We have 10 buses with 10 drivers and 10 female attendants for bus duty. We have a transport Coordinator also. We have separate toilets for boys, girls and staff.
We have 37 teachers at present working in our school. In LP section we have 391 students, UP section 160 and in HS section 83 students are studying in this academic year 2021-22.
